School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elgin, Illinois

Located in Elgin, IL, this contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide speech‑language pathology services within a dynamic K-12 school setting. The assignment begins January 5, 2026, and runs through May 20, 2026, requiring full-time commitment at 37.5 hours per week. Services will be delivered on‑site across multiple schools, with caseloads varying by location and may include itinerant duties spanning up to two schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support to students ranging from early childhood through K-12.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Manage caseload distribution across various schools, including early childhood centers and elementary school settings.
  • Provide services that support bilingual populations, primarily English and Spanish speakers.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and school district policies.
Qualifications
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech‑Language Pathology endorsement.
  • Illinois Speech‑Language Pathologist license.
  • Speech‑Language Pathologists in all experience ranges are welcome; current Clinical Fellows may apply if supervision can be provided.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desired.
  • Experience working within school settings preferred but not mandatory.
