Houseman​/Banquet Set-up

The Houseman / Banquet Set-Up team member plays a vital role in creating seamless and memorable experiences for our members and guests. This position is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and resetting banquet and event spaces throughout the club, as well as assisting with buffet setup, providing service support, and caring for club equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

• Set up and break down banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications (tables, chairs, linens, staging, AV equipment, etc.)
• Manage the setup and breakdown of plateware, stemware, glassware, and other service items, and maintain an accurate inventory of banquet supplies.
• Assist with buffet setups and monitor and refill food stations to ensure presentation and cleanliness throughout events.
• Provide ongoing bus support during events, maintaining tidy and organized service and food areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all event spaces, hallways, and storage areas.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Support the Banquet Captain and Events team to ensure timely and accurate setups and turnovers.
• Perform light maintenance or cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and proper lifting procedures.

• Previous experience in event setup, banquet service, housekeeping, or facility maintenance preferred—but not required (training provided).
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, professional environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
