Elgin Country Club is a prestigious, private country club located in Elgin, Illinois. We are seeking experienced part-time banquet servers who are personable and enthusiastic about joining our team!

• Food handlers and BASSETT certification are preferred.

Our mission is to provide a superior and socially interactive experience that serves to enrich the lives of our members, their families, and their guests, with a focus on activities including social events, great golf, and aquatics. Elgin Country Club also offers our Members casual and formal dining and banquet services for business, private, and formal gatherings.

Banquet Servers are responsible for serving all catered food and beverage items to our guests during private events in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner while showing close attention to detail.

This position is a crucial component to a successful business meeting or a once-in-a-lifetime social event!

Responsibilities:

• Candidates must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Banquet experience is required.
• Professional appearance.
• Complete room set-up and general clean-up.
• Gather all equipment necessary to service a function while maintaining a clean service area.
• Ensuring stations and table set-ups are complete while meeting departmental standards before service.
• Banquet service style / white glove service.
• Set and clear tables.
• Carry a tray of up to 30 pounds.
• Work closely and collaborate with other departments in the Club to enhance the member experience.
• The ideal candidate must enjoy interacting and conversing with members/guests and working closely within a team.

Must have black dress pants and slip-resistant black shoes (the Club will supply a dress shirt, tie, and apron).

Job Type: Part Time

Pay: $16 - $20 / per hour, will be based on experience.
