RAK Hospitality Group is a hospitality management company operating hotels across the United States. Position Summary:

This leadership role focuses on human resources services, guiding decision‑making processes and positively impacting organizational results through recruiting, retaining, developing, and rewarding top talent in a cost‑efficient and compliant manner. The coordinator leads relationship development with all facility partners across the manufacturing and hospitality divisions.

Key Responsibilities Employee Hiring, Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Scout and hire talent for all departments across the companies, working closely with department managers to meet budgetary constraints.
  • Recruit using Linked In, Indeed and other social media platforms.
  • Develop job descriptions, manage hiring, retention, succession planning, transfers and pre/post‑hiring communications.
  • Write and execute offer letters, non‑compete agreements, travel policies, company car policies – ensuring 100% compliance.
  • Terminate employees and collaborate with reporting managers and ownership.
  • Develop offboarding plans with legal counsel when necessary.
Employee Training & Management
  • Develop training plans and maintain performance management processes in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Communicate with employees in a timely manner and build one‑on‑one relationships.
  • Set up payroll with the financial controller and CPA firm.
  • Administer pay adjustments, final checks, pay cards and differential calculations.
  • Manage HIB visa processes with external agencies and law firms.
Administration
  • Oversee medical insurance billing, contract management and enrollment/termination of employees.
  • Coordinate IT services – laptop, phone, credit card provisioning with external suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate medical billing and prevent losses; work with ownership and controllers on payments.
  • Maintain relationships with medical, vision and dental insurance providers.
  • Respond to UIA claims for past employees; fight illegitimate claims in MI, WI, TX and IL.
  • Manage annual holiday plans and track PTO for salaried and hourly workers.
  • Develop and implement company handbook and other policies (time off request, medical leave, travel, company car).
  • Monitor key metrics such as turnover, attendance and vacation usage.
Special Projects
  • Assist with Michigan property renovations, vendor coordination and delivery timelines.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as they arise.

QUALIFYING & REQUIREMENTS
  • B.S. degree and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or related industry; ability to travel to all facilities.
  • Strong influence on internal and external decision makers.
  • Results‑oriented with strong communication and sales skills.
  • Team player comfortable working independently.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

Position is located in Elgin, IL with occasional travel to WI, Michigan and Texas.
