Are you an experienced electrical construction professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Permanent Project Manager for Electrical Construction to join our team. This role will offer you the opportunity to leverage your industry expertise and leadership skills to manage a variety of electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, industrial, NEC, equipment, and construction management.
This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, particularly with a focus on electrical construction.
- Overseeing all aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal team members to ensure project success.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and construction safety standards and regulations, including NEC.
- Managing project equipment needs, including procurement, maintenance, and logistics.
- Leading and mentoring project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conducting regular project reviews and reporting on project status to senior management.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Continually improving project management processes and practices, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on electrical construction.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industrial equipment, and construction management practices.
- Familiarity with NEC and other relevant electrical and construction safety standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
