J ob Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Machine Builder / Service Engineer Level
1. This entry-level position offers excellent opportunities for career growth in the specialized field of Blow/Fill/Seal (BFS) technology, primarily utilized in the pharmaceutical industry. As a member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in assembling, setting up, processing, debugging, and maintaining advanced BFS machines used in pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing.
In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to build your expertise to become a master machine builder with technical processes including reading schematics utilizing digital 3D models, working with precision measuring tools to build automation equipment start to finish, with final installation in a production facility. Travel (domestic and international) up to 25% will be required to support customer installations and service needs once training is completed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems using 2D and 3D drawings and a variety of hand and power tools.
- Set up electronic devices such as photo eyes, pressure/flow sensors, and displays.
- Optimize machine performance by fine-tuning motion controls and drives.
- Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment throughout the assembly process.
- Disassemble, diagnose, and repair assemblies as needed.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Facilitate communication between engineering and manufacturing to address issues and improve processes.
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to implement product enhancements .
- Interact with customers to address inquiries or concerns.
- Train customers on BFS machine setup and operation during FAT and SAT.
- Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and managers about work status.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain communication with the Service Manager to ensure timely completion of customer projects.
- Interface with Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Modify machine parts and assemblies in collaboration with engineering for significant changes.

- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detailed-oriented with a strong mechanical and technical aptitude, dedicated to ensuring tasks are executed accurately and promptly.
- Possess strong organization and time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Some hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, cooling mechanisms, and electrical controls experience a plus.
- Competency in interpreting and troubleshooting schematics.
- Self-driven with strong personal discipline.
- A positive team player with flexibility in adapting to changing work assignments.
Desired experience, which is a plus however, not required.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude with additional certification being advantageous.
- Relevant experience in machine building, customer service, or machine maintenance a plus however, not required.
- Proficiency in using computers for record-keeping and communication, including internet and MS Office.
- Basic comprehension in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, machine setup, and processing knowledge.
- Basic comprehension in PC/PLC and HMI systems, along with interface skills desired.
- Provide and maintain your own tools.
- Basic knowledge in using precision measuring instruments.
- Familiar with the fundamental operations of mills, lathes, bandsaws, and other machine shop equipment.
- Some experience with vacuum systems, resin conveying systems, air compressors, and chillers.
- Possess a basic understanding of engineering, mechanical and electrical principles.
- Some knowledge of tube bending techniques.
- Familiarity with plastic extrusion processes is a plus.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical facility production is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to Blow/Fill/Seal (BFS) operations.
While performing the essential duties of this job employee has exposure to a manufacturing environment such as, moving cranes, fork-lift, and various metal machining centers. OSHA approved safety glasses and footwear must be always worn on the plant floor.
