* Operate as first point of escalation ensuring production and quality standards are met and maintained.
* Operate powered equipment ex. fork truck and crane moving heavy bulky parts
* Maintain metrics including, but not limited to, throughput, quality
* Performs quality checks on work being performed
* Maintain safety, quality, methods and output.
* Keeps supervision informed of work plans, status, and employee performance
* Promote company policies and all safety requirements
* Promote, encourage and set examples of positive distributed teamwork.
* Assists the supervisor in conducting regular safety meetings as required.
* Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
* Drive improvement/change throughout.
* Must be able to analyze and problem solve
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong multi-tasker with a clear ability to work on own initiative; must be able to think and act with consideration and appreciation.
* Leadership and coaching skills essential
* Experience in Shipping, Receiving, material handling and in Warehouse/Stockroom environment*.
** Ability to work independently and in teams
* A combination of formal education, training and experience to acquire knowledge and skill of SAP, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
