Yard​/PVC Router Associate

Position Summary

The Yard/PVC Operator is a dual-role position responsible for overseeing daily yard operations and operating CNC routers to fabricate PVC fencing components. This role requires strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will supervise yard associates, coordinate material handling and deliveries, and operate CNC machinery to support production goals.

Pay: $25-$27 an hour

Schedule: Mon-Friday 7 am-4:00 pm

• Prepare and stage loads for delivery, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move freight, stock, and materials.
• Load/unload trucks, sort and organize materials, and maintain proper tagging.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and warehouse.
• Enforce safety procedures and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with fabrication and order pulling as needed.
• Work overtime as required to meet operational demands.

• Operate CNC routers to cut and shape PVC fencing components per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain router equipment and tooling.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or yard operations.
• 1–3 years of experience operating CNC routers or similar machinery.
• Forklift certification and experience required.
• Familiarity with PVC materials and plastic fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
