Event Marketing Manager

As an Event Marketing Manager on our scrappy-but-steady go-to-market team, you will own the full sales cycle from first touch to close. Frame it as Emerson trusting your 7 years with $96,000 - $158,000, a sales marketing mandate, and the room to grow into leadership.

• Mine Marketing Analytics data for the unpretentious story that wins the room
• Win back the accounts a previous Event Marketing Manager let slip
• Read the room on every manager call and adjust the close
• Read the sales marketing market and reposition the offer when it shifts
• Carry the brand voice into every cold call and every caption
• Wire Mailchimp and Looker Studio together so marketing hands sales clean leads
• Close the gap between what marketing promises and sales delivers
• Sit in on demos and tighten the script after every loss

• A point of view, held loosely and defended well
• Willingness to commute to Elgin, IL or work flexibly as needed
• Comfort presenting to an IL-wide audience without a script
• Enough Looker Studio to be dangerous, enough Mailchimp to be trusted
• Reliable, accountable, and committed to following through
• Written communication clear enough to survive a forwarded email chain
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
