Part Time Veterinarian – Chicago, IL (DEC)

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr – $/yr

Join our team as an In-Home Veterinarian in Chicago and surrounding areas such as Buffalo Grove, Aurora, Naperville, Schaumburg, and Elgin. We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic individual who wants to provide end‑of‑life care closer to the families.

• Provide in‑home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets.
• Guide families through end‑of‑life decisions.
• Build relationships with local veterinary clinics and serve as an extension of their care.
• Average 3–4 appointments per day.
• Enjoy schedule flexibility: 2–5 days per week, most appointments between 9 am and 5 pm.
• Participate in team‑building and retreat activities.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary practice experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Capability to walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, stand, and reach throughout the workday.
• Comfortable with prolonged driving.
• Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
