Job Description
The Regulatory Associate is responsible for supporting the team in managing the product lifecycle management system. This includes creating specifications and verifying supplier documents, managing customer information requests, developing nutritional fact labels, and ensuring compliance with emerging regulations.

- Ensure the product lifecycle system is up to date.
- Create and update specifications for new product rollouts and compliance with changing customer needs.
- Support the change management and approval/communication process.
- Ensure that specifications content accurately addresses regulatory, customer, and company needs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Genesis ESHA labeling software system to support product development and maintain accurate ingredient information.
- Work with customers, sales, and facility quality assurance personnel to complete and accurately fulfill customer information requests.
- Prioritize workload to achieve on-time completion of deliverables.
- Verify supplier/material documentation supporting the product lifecycle management system.
- Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, or related science field.
- 2 years of experience within the food industry.
- Experience in creating specifications and verification documents in quality.
- Experience working directly with customers on their specifications and managing the product lifecycle.
- Experience ensuring customer specifications align with regulatory needs.
- Knowledge in nutritional labeling and compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.85 - $33.50/hr.
