Immediate Opening for Part‑time Multi‑skilled Craftsman. This role could turn into a full‑time role depending on candidate and their performance.

We are the Illinois Fox Valley’s top‑rated handyman, repair, and renovation company, providing home and business owners throughout the area high‑quality craftsmanship for all of their needs. We are currently seeking highly motivated professional craftsmen/craftswomen with in‑depth skills across multiple trades.

Someone who possesses a strong will to complete all tasks assigned in a timely, professional manner. • Strong overall knowledge and hands‑on experience of all trades: plumbing, carpentry, painting, tile, flooring, electrical.
• Proficiency with proper equipment: not necessarily having every tool, but knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.
• Troubleshooting skills:
  Must be a quick thinker and able to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner.
• Excellent communication skills:
  Must be able to communicate with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers and Commercial Customers.
• Presentable:
  Clean‑cut appearance, clean and organized work vehicle, organized tools.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of 10 years of full‑time work experience within the construction industry in one of the trades.

Must reside in the Illinois Fox Valley from Elgin south to Aurora.

• This is a part‑time role which for the right candidate could be more hours if they wish.
• This role is ideal for someone looking to slow down, maybe not work as many hours as they have in the past, perhaps the candidate is getting close to retirement and wants to stay active serving customers with their abilities.
• Looks around the property and communicates to the customer, things that may need repair or things that our company can handle.
• Takes time to earn the customer’s confidence and then inquires about additional work that could be performed.
• Sometimes taking the time to fix something small, then points out to the customer to help them understand that we are capable of doing more.
• Someone who is punctual, efficient and maintains the highest integrity and strives for top customer satisfaction.
• Enjoys being an integral part of a winning team.
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to EXCEED Customers’ expectations.
