School Social Worker – Elgin, IL

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and bilingual School Social Worker for the 2025‑2026 school year. This full‑time role involves supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating with educators, families, and community resources.

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
• Support the development and implementation of student IEPs and 504 plans as needed
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community organizations
• Travel between multiple school sites as required

• Masters degree in Social Work required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Support Personnel required
• Passing score on the Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS) Social Worker Test (Test 238)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Previous school‑based experience is a plus
