Enthusiastic about technology and excited to make an impact working with teens? We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our Teen Services Team at the Main Library. As part of our team, you will provide services and assistance to our high school and middle school-aged customers in our teen center and multi-media lab.
Candidates must be proficient with technology, possess strong customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and—most importantly—must enjoy working with teens of all ages.
In this role you will:- Assist with projects and services for Studio 270, the Digital Media Lab, & the Teen Services Department.
- Provide readers' advisory and reference services.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide high-quality programs and services.
- Plan and present activities, programs, and events.
- Customer-focused, enthusiastic, friendly, and empathetic.
- Enthusiastic about working with teens, ages 11-18 years old.
A motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
Mindful, adaptable, and open to new ideas and feedback.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Teens.
- Mac OS skills are desirable.
