Overview
Position Summary: Eventus Whole Health delivers an integrated model of care to adults who reside in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants and in-house Support Staff.
Responsibilities- The primary focus is on Medical Director responsibilities at SNFs, including H&Ps and regulatory visits, with collaborative oversight of visits to ALFs in the territory. The aim is MD exposure, meetings with RCC and Admin, and being present during NP/PA rounds to guide quality of care for extenders while meeting oversight visit RVU expectations.
- Supervise all NPs in the region and develop systems with facilities and providers to implement a systems-based approach.
- Monthly Primary Care Conference Calls.
- Collaborate with the Audit team to ensure standard of care and billing criteria meet the standards required for Medicare or Medicaid audits.
- SNF duties: administrative responsibilities for SNF (signing MD-only paperwork such as FL2s, Rehab Certificates, etc.).
- Attend QA meetings and rounds as needed; function as an attending physician when rounds occur and when families require involvement.
- Regulatory visits: MD responsible for every other 60-day regulatory visit; NP conducts visits every 30 days for two cycles.
- Each SNF has a full-time NP to manage acutes, discharges, tuck-ins, and regular follow-ups for the plan of care.
- Licensed MD or DO
- 3 years in Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- AMDA Certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Medical Directorship is a plus
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
