The Division of Academic Affairs provides leadership in developing and maintaining quality academic programs and support services that contribute to the achievement of the university’s mission. Responsibilities- Provide up to 12 hours of individual college‑level percussion instruction per week, plus one group percussion class.
- Collaborate with other faculty, diverse community musicians, and music groups to promote alternative, popular, and commercial music styles within the music program and on campus.
- Minimum 18 hours of graduate‑level percussion instruction (required).
- M.M. in Percussion Performance with college‑level teaching experience (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.
- Commitment to excellence in student learning and ability to promote student success in a multicultural and global community.
