Temporary Peer Tutor:
Tutorial Services at Elizabeth City State University.

The university offers multiple student employment assignments including clerical support, research, and tutoring services. Duties vary by department and assignment and may include:

• Clerical support: general office reception, mail distribution, records processing, data entry, filing, correspondence, appointment scheduling.
• Research: data collection, data analysis, basic laboratory functions.
• Tutoring: conducting subject‑specific sessions with fellow students to assist them in meeting their academic goals.

• Must be currently enrolled as an ECSU student.
• Must be able to tutor in multiple courses and have at least a B in the course that is being tutored.
• Tutoring positions have a minimum 3.2 GPA requirement (3.5 preferred).
• Research positions may require enrollment in a related course.
