The Loan Processor, Recreational Finance, generates the required documentation for all new and modified Marine, RV, or Aviation loan requests. This position performs loan processing, administrative, clerical, and other general office duties. The Loan Processor will communicate with attorneys, insurance agents, documentation agents, and clients to ensure the prompt and efficient processing of loan requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Work with the broker/dealer and all other parties involved to schedule loans for closing.
- 2. Prepare and process all SPF loan documents based on the loan approval, purchase agreement, settlement sheet and any other documents pertaining to the transaction.
- 3. Verify all documentation provided by the loan officer and underwriter when the loan is approved.
- 4. Close approved loans ensuring that all policies have been followed in the approval of the loan, all signatures are on all documents, and loan documentation includes the correct data and notarization.
- 5. Stay knowledgeable of the banks policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure bank compliance.
- 6. Stay current of all new changes in regulations and compliance.
- 7. Collaborate with the Retail Credit Administrator, Retail Loan Manager and the Compliance Department to stay current on regulatory changes.
- 8. Sort and code final collateral and credit loan documents to scan into the archive system.
- 9. Communicate with attorneys, insurance agents, documentation agents, and clients to ensure the prompt and efficient processing of loan requests.
- 10. Ensure that all required disclosures and checklists are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- 11. Complete the loan process by funding and preparing the completed loan package for scanning and uploading into the Bank's loan system.
- 12. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- 13. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
- 14. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 7 to 11 months years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals;
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLSAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
