Sentara RMH Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Albemarle is now hiring a Full-Time Athletic Trainer in Elizabeth City, NC!
Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift.
NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS!
Overview
The Athletic Trainer will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic-related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with the team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention, maintenance, and assistance.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy
Certification/Licensure
- Licensed Athletic Trainer or Athletic Trainer Certified or eligible for LAT or ATC exam
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
- Valid license in the state of practice
Experience
- 40 hours of clinical experience preferred
