Grain Operator – Perdue Farms

Perdue Agri Business invites you to join as a Grain Operator to support grain operations through equipment operation, maintenance, grain testing, and customer communication.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and maintain facilities for grain handling, storage, and drying.
- Set up, inspect, and calibrate grain testing and weighing equipment per procedures.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Prepare, test, and grade grain samples from inbound/outbound shipments.
- Respond to customers regarding account information.
- Weigh inbound and outbound grain shipments per requirements.
- Work within safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, federal agencies and company policies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years experience.
- Reading, writing, math and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of standard computer applications.
Physical Requirements
Able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0-150') and carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs). Exposure temperatures 0-100°F, humidity 0-100%, noise 50-100 dB, chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must wear protective equipment including self-contained breathing apparatus. Required to travel to remote agribusiness facilities and customer locations.
