Registered Nurse (RN) - Same Day Surgery (SDS)

Join Sentara Health as a Registered Nurse in the Same Day Surgery unit at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, located in Elizabeth City, NC. This full‑time position offers a competitive compensation package including up to $15,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates and 36 hours per week on a day shift.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to support our same‑day surgery patients. The role involves assisting surgeons and anesthesia teams, monitoring patients pre‑and post‑operatively, and ensuring safe discharge.

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science Nursing (MSN) preferred

• Registered Nursing License (required)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• ACLS & PALS certification within 90 days of hire

• No prior experience required
• 1 year acute care experience preferred
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
