Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals.
  • Lead clinic staff in behavior, actions, and attitude, providing guidance to ensure quality professional services.
  • Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
  • Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient care as determined.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information.
  • Ensure all activities comply with federal and state regulations, guiding HIPAA and other health information management issues.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment both in‑patient and virtual settings.
  • Prioritize telehealth patients to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on continued treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Adhere to clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising Physicians and complete E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training to exceed quality of care standards.

  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team in all necessary manners to support excellent patient care.

  • Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
  • Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities.
  • Maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.

  • Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified by the physical demands.

  • Have proven experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
