• Clinical Oversight:
  Direct the nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure quality resident care and safety.
• Survey Readiness:
  Maintain "survey-ready" status by ensuring compliance with CMS and North Carolina DHSR regulations.
• Quality Management:
  Lead the QAPI process, monitor infection control, and oversee wound care and pharmacy programs.
• Staff Development:
  Recruit, hire, and mentor nursing personnel, fostering a culture of retention and professional growth.
• Budgeting:
  Manage the nursing department budget, including labor costs (PPD) and clinical supply inventory.

• License:
  Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License in North Carolina (or Multi-State Compact).
• Experience:
  
  Proven experience as a DON or ADON in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
• Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS processes, and state/federal nursing home regulations.
• Leadership:
  Excellent communication skills and a "lead-by-example" management style.
