• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and on-site contacts to address security-related concerns and support the overall security program.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms, following established protocols for the government environment.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential disturbances and promote a secure environment for staff and visitors.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Six months or more of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
