Armed Security Guard - Part Time Patrol

Overview

Armed Security Guard – Part Time Patrol at Allied Universal in Elizabeth City, NC. This role safeguards government locations, patrols the perimeter, and provides outstanding customer service. A flexible schedule is powered by our Claim a Shift platform.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and defensive equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Communicate clearly with team members, management, and client representatives regarding security-related matters.

• Armed guard card or license is required.
• At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Schedule:

Day Time Mon 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM Sun 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
