Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Solar Sales Team Leader to lead and inspire our door-to-door (D2D) sales team. You’ll oversee daily field operations, recruit and train door knockers, and coach them to meet and exceed performance targets. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-energy, commission-driven environment and knows how to get the best out of a sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of D2D representatives to generate leads and book qualified appointments.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide daily coaching and performance feedback to maximize conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and legal requirements.
- Foster a competitive, supportive, and motivating team culture.
- Monitor, track, and report on performance metrics (leads, appointments, conversions).
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to streamline processes and optimize lead flow.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in door-to-door (D2D) sales.
- Previous leadership, sales management, or team coaching experience.
- Comfortable working in a 100% commission-based role.
- Strong communication, motivation, and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
