Job Overview:

Clinical laboratory personnel, as members of the healthcare delivery team, are responsible for ensuring reliable and accurate laboratory test results, which contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention of conditions in humans. Quality testing involves performing the correct test, on the right person, at the right time, producing accurate results efficiently and cost-effectively.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science
• 2 to 3 years of clinical laboratory experience

Preferred:

• National Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part Time
• Day Shift

Essential Functions:

• Manage pre-Analytical, Analytical, and Post-Analytical workflows in Blood Bank, Chemistry, UA, and Hematology departments
• Perform daily QC, troubleshoot issues, and communicate critical results to caregivers
• Adhere to policies and procedures; perform other duties under departmental supervision
