SLP - Speech Therapist

Our client is seeking Speech Language Pathologist in Union County. Starting $85/hour

• Assess and treat people who have communication disorders.
• Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty.
• Identify clients' goals for treatment.
• Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses specific functional needs.
• Teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency.
• Help clients improve vocabulary and sentence structure.
• Work with clients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow.
• Counsel clients and their families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disorders.

• Minimum of a Master's Degree.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in Child Study field.
• NJ State Certifications.
• Experience treating young adult populations.
• Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting.
• School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations.
• Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings.
• Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management.
• Must be willing to obtain register/archive fingerprints under Delta-T Group codes.
