The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job OverviewThe Social Worker LCSW provides direct clinical services in our behavioral health adult outpatient program, including clinical assessments, psychological testing, psychiatric evaluation, medication management and a variety of psychotherapy groups to adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), including those with a co-occurring substance-use diagnosis in our Adult Outpatient department.
QualificationsRequired:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NJ (LCSW)
- Per Diem (PD)
- Obtains appropriate release of information
- Designs and implements treatment plans, including individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and evaluates and documents patient outcomes according to department policy and procedure
- Maintains up-to-date and complete records of patient information according to established standards
- Assists in reviewing and updating treatment and discharge plans
- Collaborates with other hospital programs and community agencies with which patients and families are involved
- Assesses patients' needs through clinical interview, chart/history review and through use of standardized instruments
