Overview

Kona Medical Consulting is currently looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who will be under the TIBS for Kids client in Avenel, New Jersey. The role focuses on helping patients gain independence and improve quality of life, working closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide hands-on therapy across various healthcare settings.

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence in daily activities
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
• Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment plans and outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Pay: $45/hour
