Department: BCIS – Union
Salary: $65,000–$67,000
Location: 615 North Broad St., Elizabeth, NJ
Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week (schedule TBD)
Position Overview In collaboration with the CIS Director and the Senior Wellness Clinician, the Wellness Clinician-Licensed (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) ensures that clinical interventions are effective, trauma‑informed, stage‑based, and tied to goals and discharge plans for clients in the CIS Program. Responsibilities- Provide assessment and direct clinical services to individuals experiencing mental health crises or worsening pre‑existing disorders, or co‑occurring disorders.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary core services team.
- Ensure clinical interventions align with stage‑based and trauma‑informed frameworks.
- Provisional License – LAC or LSW
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Minimum 3 years paid progressive experience with people with mental health issues (preferably outpatient or community mental health setting)
- Valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation in past 12 months
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- May supervise MSW or MA students
40 hours per week, two night shifts (12 pm–8 pm). Schedule to be determined.
