Job Description
We are hiring a skilled US Medical Billing & AR Specialist to work remotely. This position requires direct phone communication with United States insurance companies to follow up on claims, resolve denials, and manage accounts receivable efficiently.
Job RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Submit and track electronic insurance claims through payment
- Make outbound calls to US insurance companies for claim follow-ups and denial resolution
- Work denials, resubmissions, and appeals
- Verify eligibility and insurance benefits when required
- Post payments (ERA/EOB) and reconcile discrepancies
- Actively manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and reduce Days in AR
- Accurately document all payer communications and claim updates
- Provide brief weekly performance summaries
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on US medical billing / RCM experience
- Proven experience calling US insurance companies (mandatory)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Solid understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlined
