Bar & Gaming Attendant

The Bar Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role ensures that guests have a positive and enjoyable experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and product knowledge.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with venue standards and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) laws.

Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and offering drink recommendations.

Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash/card transactions.

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware.

Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption.

Follow all opening, closing, and shift handover procedures.

Support the wider front-of-house team during busy periods (e.g., clearing tables or assisting with functions).

Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Valid RSA certificate (mandatory in most Australian states).

Previous experience in a bar, hospitality, or customer service role preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Knowledge of popular cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits is an advantage.

Punctual, reliable, and well-presented.

Fast-paced hospitality environment, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requires standing for extended periods and lifting stock or kegs as needed.
