The Crew Foreman is a key leadership position at TBC Septic. The Crew Foreman will execute company objectives from ownership and communicate daily on status of objectives. The Crew Foreman will have ultimate responsibility for meeting objectives on time and on budget; on a per-project basis. The Crew Foreman will have ability to run excavation equipment, and help Technician’s with placement of materials.

The Crew Foreman will always have assistance from the Company owner.

Hours:

8:30am -> 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Crew of 2-3 total in successful installation of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS). These systems can be repairs or new installations. Industry experience not required, training will be supplied.
  • Adhere to County Regulations and PE Design Specifications. Failure can lead to a failed inspection causing unplanned setbacks.
• Layout Dig plan for mainline and tank(s)
• Layout Dig plan for Soil Treatment Areas (STAs)
  • Laser
  • Ensure max/min depths meet plan (and County Reg) specifications
• Excavate Dig Path to plan
• Lead, manage the Field Technicians in all duties including:
  • Trench Raking / Pipe Laying (to pitch) / Gluing
  • Tank Prep / Level Tank Setting / T’s / Risers / Lids / Effluent Filters
  • Laser Level STA’s
  • Installation of Lateral Pipe / Chambers / Flushing Valves
  • Installation of Distribution Boxes / ADV’s / Observations Ports
  • Installation of Pumps / Control Panels / Floats
• Backfill system to specification
  • Ensure drainage and compaction
  • Hand Rake / Shovel
• Daily Equipment Maintenance
  • Ensure Equipment (Trackhoe/Backhoe/Skidsteer/trailer etc) is Clean (daily)
  • Ensure proper maintenance on equipment (Grease, Air/oil filters, Oils etc) (daily)
  • Ensure equipment has fuel (daily)
• Daily Trailer and Supplies Procedures
  • Ensure Trailer is straitened (daily)
  • Ensure Proper Materials are in onsite. (daily)
  • Ensure Batteries are charged
    • Ensure Generator has fuel
    • Ensure Laser/repeater has batteries
  • Travel & Mobilization
    • Ability to load Equipment onto trailer
    • Ability to transport Equipment from job to job (non CDL)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay dates:
Weekly, Automatic, every Friday

Work Status: 1099 to start. w2 if requested after successful start.
