Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician

New Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician Locums Job in Kentucky Starting in 2026

Details/Requirements:
We are looking for a provider to work Monday-Friday, 8 hour floor shifts, work Monday-Sunday, 8 hour floor shifts
Provide care on the Pulmonary Floor, which primarily admits patients transitioning from the ICU to lower-acuity care.
Schedule is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, during which the locum will manage Pulmonary Floor patients in collaboration with APRNs, APCs, and hospitalists.
At 5:00 PM, patient care transitions fully to the hospitalist-intensivist team, making this an 8-hour daytime shift with no overnight responsibilities.
This role does not involve ICU coverage; however, candidates with Critical Care board certification may also be considered for additional support opportunities on both the ICU and Pulmonary Floor in the future.
Specific dates needed
Average 20-35 patients in a 24 hour period
