The Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science (MPCS) has 34 full-time faculty members and 20 part-time faculty. We value excellent teaching and personalized student support to help students achieve their goals, whether the goal is to enter a career or to continue their education. Our department currently offers 2-year Associate Degree in Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Starting in 2027, we will be offering a 2-year Associate Degree in Data Science.

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College Department of MPCS invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Mathematics and Computer Science, intended to begin August 15, 2027. The emphasis of this position is on effective teaching at the undergraduate level. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
Courses taught in our department are combinations of in-person, online and hybrid formats, which may include evening sessions. Class sizes range from 15-30 students.
Essential Functions- Teach Mathematics and Computer Science courses such as but not limited to Preparatory Algebra, Math Literacy, Foundations of Quantitative Reasoning, Introduction to Programming, and Fundamentals of Information Technology.
