Senior ICT / Security Designer

Join us at HDR to design mission‑critical ICT solutions for healthcare and data‑center environments. As a senior designer, you will lead low‑voltage technology design, creating innovative, future‑ready solutions.

• Evaluate, select and apply state‑of‑the‑art low voltage technology systems, techniques, procedures, design and modifications.
• Design and specify low voltage technology systems including structured cabling, outside plant and fiber optic systems.
• Understand medical technology system design such as nurse call, patient EETV, physiological monitoring, EMS radio and distributed antenna systems.
• Take responsibility for the complete set of construction documents.
• Recognize that assignments have objectives that require investigation of many variables.
• Independently perform low voltage technology/electrical engineering assignments with broad general instruction from the Project Manager regarding the results expected.
• Select and recommend procedures, security devices and equipment, write specifications covering all low voltage technology system matters, perform reviews, and work directly with owners as part of the project team.
• Assist other Designers, Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed and be responsible for work in all phases of the low voltage technology design process.
• Conduct QA/QC on work of other Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• PSP certification.
• Familiarity with Autodesk platforms.
• Experience in Data Centers and Healthcare systems.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in low‑voltage system design.
• RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, Autodesk, Specs Intact.
