* Job Description:

*** The surgical technologist is a technically trained person who functions as a member of the surgical team and performs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
** Requirements:
*** Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program required.
* Good clinical, organizational, communication, customer service and critical thinking skills required.
* Ability to work in a stressful environment required.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Associate's degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
* Recent experience as a surgical tech in an Acute Care facility preferred.
* BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
