* Job Description:

*** Operates Radiologic equipment to produce clinical radiographs (X-rays) for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
* Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the technologist performs radiographic examinations of the breast as requested by a physician.
** Requirements:
*** Associate's degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
* Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
* Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.
* Certification in mammography within one year of hire required.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** One to three years of experience as an RT preferred.
* Mammography experience preferred.
* BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
