Operations Manager – Inpatient Pharmacy

Full‑time, first shift

Job Description:

Responsible for operational services in the acute care hospital and if applicable, hospital owned outpatient departments (HOPDs) and/or infusion centers. Responsible for developing policies and procedures to ensure that medications are stored, prepared, and dispensed in a safe and effective manner. Ensures that distribution services are provided to meet the needs of the medical staff, patients, nurses, and associates. The Pharmacy Operations Manager facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, appropriate, cost‑effective medication therapies.

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy required.
• Kentucky Board of Pharmacy License in good standing required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• PGY‑1 residency preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Board certification or other advanced certification preferred.
