**** Nursing Assistant - Nursing Facility
**** Full-Time 7p - 7a
** The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Obtains and documents reported height and weighs patient on admission and documents.
* Turns and positions patients every 2 hours as indicated, using proper body mechanics.
* Assists and promotes activity, ambulation, up in chair and other activities as ordered.
* Assists patients with personal hygiene, including as showering, bathing, shaving, shampooing, perianal-care, catheter care and oral care.
* Takes and records vital signs accurately within established time frame.
* Consistently performs hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and promote customer satisfaction.
** Requirements:
*** High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* ** Certified Nurse Aid certification required upon hire.
*** Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Six months experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
