American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 20-bed medical ICU requiring CRRT/IABP experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details- 20-bed medical ICU setting with 2:1 patient ratios
- Cares for patients with cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, and post-surgical needs
- Performs continuous dialysis and invasive bedside procedures
- 3x12 day shift schedule, 7a-7p
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
- CRRT/IABP experience required
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
- Provides direct patient care including nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments
- Facilitates admission, transfer, and discharge activities
- Delivers patient and family-centered education and care coordination
- Delegates and oversees patient care tasks performed by other team members
- Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
- Candidates must reside within 75 miles; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
