Job Description:
Registered Nurse - Short Stay Unit Full-Time 7a - 7pThe Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
Requirements:
Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in specialty preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
