**** Registered Nurse - Operating Room
**** Full-Time Second Shift
** The Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Surgery unit. The Charge Nurse works closely with the Preop/PACU to ensure patient flow efficiencies. Also, as a Registered Nurse, implements the nursing process for each patient assigned to his/her care.
** Requirements:
*** Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
* Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
* A minimum of one year of relevant job-related experience is required.
* Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:
*** Recent experience in specialty preferred.
* Previous supervisory experience and CNOR.
