The Retail Service Merchandiser is responsible for working as part of a team to perform reset and remodel work, including plan‑o‑gram execution, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activities. This role plays a key part in delivering retail excellence for Acosta, our clients, and our customers. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, adaptable, and a strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Read and follow plan‑o‑grams to complete reset and remodel work.
- Move and clean shelves, install new racks and fixtures, display merchandise, attach tags and shelf strips, and check date codes for accuracy.
- Perform pack‑outs, restocks, and reorders for accuracy.
- Partner with store personnel and teammates to achieve merchandising excellence and maintain strong working relationships.
- Report observations, issues, and progress to the Area Manager or Senior Area Manager.
- Use web‑based applications to manage work schedule, accept assignments, access documentation, record mileage and expenses, track time and attendance, and complete training activities.
- Prepare, process, and submit required documentation accurately and on time.
- Demonstrate safe work practices, use equipment properly, and proactively report unsafe conditions.
- Follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be a self‑starter and quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Effectively collaborate with store personnel and team members.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Comfortable using technology such as smartphones, handheld devices, and web‑based applications.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prior retail or merchandising experience required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Computer access with internet, email, and printer required.
- Able to operate and learn to operate basic tools and equipment, calculators, phones, copiers, drills, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders.
- Must be able to climb and stand on a step stool or ladder.
- Must be able ot lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Travel within the assigned territory is required.
