We’re seeking an experienced, state-licensed Optometrist who wants to fill in from time to time as needed in our six locations throughout Greater Sacramento Area—Natomas, Folsom, Howe-Yulett, Arden, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Roseville.

Visionworks Doctors of Optometry enjoys the benefits of being a Doctor without the hassle of running a business. Visionworks handles all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary-care practices provide comprehensive eye care, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment:
Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR (on an iPad), and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyzer. OD techs help work up patients and provide contact lens teaching.

As part of Visionworks “#Oneteam,” you'll practice full-time (or part-time) providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual/medical conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform patient examinations
• Recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings
• Handle eye emergencies
• Collaborate with staff to deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare
