Assistant Salon Manager

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color hair salon is looking for an Assistant Salon Manager / Cosmetologist to join our active, team‑oriented salon. The candidate will work behind the chair and help manage day‑to‑day salon operations.

We provide regional marketing and advertising to bring guests in, offer services for men, women and kids, and support walk‑ins, appointments and online check‑in. We run television, radio, print and social media campaigns (Facebook & Instagram), host loyalty and email programs, and provide free continuing education for all stylists.

• Assisting in managing the salon and the team
• Reinforcing our strong team environment daily
• Empowering stylists, assisting them with goals, and showing appreciation for their work
• Working behind the chair with hair color, highlighting, cutting for men, women and children, and facial waxing services
• Retail product sales

• Desire to stay current with cutting and styling trends
• Willingness to encourage fellow stylists to enroll in free education offered by our salon
• Desire to learn CHI color (training provided)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, fun, busy environment
• Valid Minnesota Cosmetology license
• Self‑motivated, energetic, positive, goal‑oriented with excellent guest service and team inspiration

• Goal setting and holding staff accountable for daily duties
