• Current/recent Medical Assistant experience: 2+ years
  - Required
• Experience with Newborn, Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult populations
  -Required
• Experience with taking vitals, immunizations, EKG, ear lavages, andtaking phone calls
  - Required

• Medical Assistant Diploma from that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
  - Required
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
  - Required

• The Medical Assistant will manage the customer flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their customers. Customers come from a variety of backgrounds and various age groups requiring individualized care including infants, children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics.
• The Medical Assistant will perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic. Tasks include standard rooming processes, giving immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider;and performing laboratory specimen collection as needed.
• Provide telephone support
• Facilitate communication between customers and providers
• Assist with prescription refills
• Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam
• Perform phlebotomy dutiesif within their skill and scope of practice
