Pay may also include variable compensation from time to time such as overtime for non-exempt positions, shift differential for specific shifts, and/or bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Job Summary
Under limited supervision this position assembles parts or units, aligns and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies or frames using hand tools and power tools.
Essential Job Functions
- Proficient in assembly of windshields, doors, sub-assemblies and accessories to set parts per hour
- Promotes “safety first” mindset across production floor and ensures staff are following safety procedures/guidelines
- Lead by example and in alignment with company core beliefs and values
- Foster an environment of trust, collaboration, accountability and service to our team and community
- Verifies stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts and fasteners per the job traveler
- Performs necessary quality checks on product prior to assembly and reports issues to line lead
- Confirms proper functionality of power/hand tools prior to use
- Packs finished product into designated carton
- Identifies assembly and packing problems, reports problems to line lead for assistance
