Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Transitional Care Unit – 400 Wing, Guardian Angels Care Center, Elk River, MN

The Nurse is critical in assessing (RN), observing (LPN), and monitoring resident conditions while promptly notifying physicians and families of any changes. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff to ensure compliance with each resident's plan of care, facility policies, and procedures.

• Provide dignified, resident-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Perform assessment, care, and services for assigned residents throughout the shift.
• Supervise and monitor staff to ensure compliance with resident plans of care and facility policies.
• Follow universal precautions, infection control guidelines, sanitation, and safety standards of practice.
• Maintain confidential information in accordance with Guardian Angels Care Center policy and HIPAA.
• Perform all duties in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.

• Licensed as an LPN or RN in Minnesota.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize.

• 2:30-11:00 pm shift, part-time, 64 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
• Must be available every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.
• RN: $35.41 - $41.48/hour (based on experience).
• LPN: $27.82 - $33.71/hour (based on experience).
